Things happen when you go out in Tokyo to buy bread, hoping to get ideas for a comic: serendipity, birds and bread have interesting ways of intertwining.
The day I went searching for bread and an idea but bumped into a zakkyo.

Author Ignacio Abad and me very much love zakkyos. Small universes in themselves, zakkyo literally means ‘coexisting miscellany’: a multi-tenant building containing a mix of shops and businesses. What a better setting for a story where I go out searching for bread and ideas, but end up playing guitar on a rooftop?
The reading directions of this one are tough to reproduce on the web. Below, you can read my clumsy effort to cut it into panels, but maybe the best is to scroll to the bottom of the page where you can see the comic in its totality. You are expected to start at the bottom left corner.
