I thought I would never write this: we are moving (one hour) out of Tokyo. Blame climate change for it, but also our willingness to try things while we can.
Moving out of Tokyo
At least for a bit
My family and I are doing an experiment we had been considering for a long time: after living in cities all my life, what would it be like to live outside in nature? Mind you, not in a real rural place (that's too much asking from me) but what if it's a green place but still with museums, cafes and shops so I won't freak out? Somewhere in nature, but connected to urban-like life.
We think we might have found such a place just one hour away from Tokyo, and are going to give it a try for at least 2 years. We will see how it goes.
