I have known Mariya Suzuki for many years, while I still lived in Europe and she lived in her hometown Nara. She is the personification of the true artist.

You will probably find Mariya Suzuki (born 1987 Nara, Japan) drawing in any given cafe corner in Tokyo. Her drawings are essentially a call to the power of less: inexpensive colour pens, paper scraps and a self-made folder to hold them together is all she uses to create the magic.
